Working with Advancing Analytics and their client, SEGA Europe, we captured the story behind a major data engineering project that transformed how game analytics data was processed, managed and used across the organisation.
The project involved modernising a critical data pipeline responsible for handling tens of thousands of events per second from players around the world. The result was a faster, more scalable and more cost-effective platform that allowed data to move from game events to actionable insights in less than five minutes, compared to around thirty minutes previously.
However, the most important part of the story was not the technology itself.
It was the impact.
By capturing the perspectives of both the consultancy and the client, we helped communicate how the solution improved decision making, reduced costs, increased efficiency and created a stronger foundation for future growth.
