Product demonstration
“ASK Yourself, what is your product / service trying to solve, what are the benefits?, find the value proposition and demonstrate how you do that”
Perfect for: Business website / Facebook / YouTube / Vimeo / Instagram / TikTok
Typical duration: 1-X minutes
Lead the way
One of the biggest frustrations that customers mainly have, after purchasing a product / service, is how it is meant to be used. Whilst as business owners we know this inside and out, clients don’t always see the full picture and this is where you lead the way.
On the flip side, you have demonstration content which customers have created and they don’t always represent your brand or demonstrate how your product / service is intended to be used correctly, which leads to incorrect representation of your product / service.
“Give customers value by showing them exactly what they need to do, don’t leave the customer with guesswork”
This is where you should take the lead in this domain, it shows that you are committed to your customer base by providing them with value. You can structure the demonstration in the following manner.
Brief intro about the product - we don’t need a novel here, the customer is already aware of the product and capabilities we just need a slight refresher.
Provide a solution - the demonstration should focus on the problems that it will be solving and using those problems to demonstrate how the functionality of the product / service can help.
Call to action - At the end of the video, you should provide a clear and specific next step to take, this might be to download a trial, request more information or even buy now. This might be a series of demonstrations on a single product and you can include a prompt to look at other features that has solved customer / client problems.
